Like a lot of Ryan Hall's training regimen, his tempo runs have changed recently too -- they are now faster as he's experimented with spending more time at sea level. He experiments with breaking up the tempo runs, too, breaking up a 15-mile run into 3- to 5-mile runs, for example. Ryan breaks his approach to tempos down so everyday runners can benefit.
